The Olde Dutch Restaurant

The finest home style
buffet in Hocking Hills

Six meats a day, a super salad bar, and pie we cut by hand — served under the oaks of Rempel’s Grove.

The house specialty

Marinated Broasted Chicken

Marinated in our own recipe, then broasted to order. It anchors the buffet every single day, comes as a dinner in white or dark, and goes home by the bucket for eight, twelve, sixteen, or twenty.

Rempel’s Grove

A hundred and fifty years
under the same oaks

In the 1840s this was a community picnic ground, reachable from downtown Logan by canal boat for a fifteen cent fare. After the Civil War it hosted over a thousand Union veterans, with future president William McKinley in attendance. The rail line still runs through the grove. We opened here in August of 1994.
